1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using our mobile ultrasound services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you disagree, do not proceed with booking.
2. Services Provided
- We offer mobile ultrasound scans (e.g., pregnancy,
abdominal, musculoskeletal) at your
chosen location (home, workplace, etc.).
- Scans are performed by qualified sonographers.
- Diagnostic reports (if applicable) will be shared
with you and/or your healthcare
provider (with consent).
3. Booking & Payments
Appointments:
Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email. A deposit or full payment may be
required to secure your appointment.
Cancellations & Refunds:
- Full refund if the patient cancels at least 24 hours
before the appointment and we have
not yet dispatched a sonographer.
- If the cancellation occurs after our team has
departed for the appointment location, a
£50 call-out fee will be deducted from the refund to cover travel and administrative
costs.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made
within 2 hours of the scheduled
appointment or if the patient is not present upon arrival (no-show), except in
documented emergency cases.
Service Cancellation by Comfort Scan:
If we cancel an appointment for any reason, a full refund will be issued promptly.
Fees:
All service fees are clearly stated on our website or at the time of booking.
4. Patient Responsibilities
- Provide accurate medical history and disclose any
conditions affecting the scan.
- Ensure a safe environment for our team (e.g., clear
space, privacy).
- Follow pre-scan instructions (e.g., fasting for
certain scans).
5. Limitations of Service
- Our scans are not a substitute for emergency medical
care.
- Results may require follow-up with your
GP/specialist.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if safety or
professional standards are
compromised.
6. Data Privacy
- Personal/medical data is handled per our Privacy
Policy.
- Scan images/reports are stored securely and shared
only with consent.
7. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Undiagnosed conditions (scans are
operator-dependent).
- Delays due to traffic, equipment failure, or
unforeseen circumstances.
- Liability is limited to the cost of the service
provided.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms; the latest version will be on our website.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by UK law, with disputes resolved in English courts.
